The middle 50% of remedial education teachers and adult literacy teachers were earning between $32,500 and $57,250. The bottom 10% was earning under $24,500. The top 10% were earning over $75,750. The teachers who are employed part-time are generally paid hourly or per class and don't receive many benefits, if any at all. The teachers who are employed full-time are generally paid a salary and receive benefits such as health insurance. This applies if they are working for the government or through a school system.
