In 2006, the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) reported average annual earnings for salary and wage floral designers were $21,500, with the middle 50 percent earning between $17,500 and $27,500, the lowest 10 percent earning less than $15,000, and the highest 10 percent earning more than $33,500. The average annual earnings were $23,500 in grocery stores and $21,000 in florists.
